This week has been dang hot! Actually today is only in the 80s, but it was in the 90s and 100s, which is HOT for a poor Northwesterner like me. I live in the great, white North...it shouldn't be hot! I am lucky; my parent's house has air conditioning because it rarely gets hot here -- or so they say. Because it doesn't get hot here that much, the home builder decided to scam everybody and put in an ac too small for the size of our house. So, when it gets hot outside, its just slightly cooler in here. I have been wearing lighter clothes and steering clear of shoes because my feet tend to swell in the heat. I also complain a lot. It also helps to sit in front of the refrigerator with the door open. How do you stay cool?
