my hands are your hands
This weekend has been crazy, but very peaceful and calm, It's nice having a parent-less weekend! I don't have much to rant about!
My hands are severely peeling, though. They have been dry for about a week now, but now they're red and painful. I keep putting on lotion (Victoria's Secret Seduction; good smellin stuff!), but it doesn't seem to be working right now.
Everything I touch makes my hands hurt, save typing. And since I use a wheelchair and use my hands a lot, it's not like I can stop using them for a day or anything.
I have to touch things to transfer.
Painful.
But I just can't stay in my chair forever...especially when nature calls...
And I have to wheel myself around. And carry stuff. And dress myself. And stand up. And eat.
I'm grimacing right now just thinking of it.
I guess I need to just go to the doctor. <deep sigh> I just don't want to wait forever in the doctor's office, only to see him for all of 2 seconds and prescribe me some cream that I'll forget to use and my hands will still be horribly dry and painful forever. Our medical system is a travesty.
I wonder if I am allergic to something.
I hope not...

Does the hand cream contain lanolin? Are you allergic to wool? Does wool make you itch? If so, then the good smelling lotion could be your problem. I'll bring some doctor ordered cream that I use that is a wonder to art class unless you want it sooner than that email me.

Maybe it's the cream...I'll have to check to see if lanolin is in there.
