Awareness

So, I've been debating if I should post a link to this story or not. As a journalism major, I know how easy it is to slant information (heck, everyone does it...The New York Times, The Weekly World News, me, other random blogs...and the story of Rueben I found in a blog is very highliy slanted, (a less slanted version is found here.) but I think it is important to learn about this story because medical discrimination of the disabled does exist. Medicaid, which I am on, as well as many disabled people, does not offer to pay for preventative care...what, it's cheaper for us to die of a preventable disease than live an altered existence? Well, at least, our organs are useful
