Today and yesterday have both been really busy. I helped Jim with his art group yesterday at the convalescent center he's staying in this week to recover from his hip-replacement surgery. I enjoyed the people I met, and Jim bought me lunch there afterwards. I was a bit dismayed by some of the lack of care I saw. Poor Jim got a cramp during the art group and the person he called over to get some help, told him to sit back down in his wheelchair and then left him moaning in pain. Luckily, I was there to offer help, but I use a wheelchair and can only help so much. I stretched out his foot and helped abate the pain. Isn't that sad commentary that gimpy me, who DOESN'T WORK THERE, had to help? I went shopping today and got my glasses adjusted. I also have an interview. For a part-time, 3 month internship with DVR, Yep, the state! An in with the state! I prolly won't get it, but I can't help but hope. We'll see. I have pictures! I'll try to post them soon.
