Today's Links
So, I have been working on my nano. Seriously.
I haven't done the word count yet, but I'm sure I am behind...
So, I haven't done much blog promotion lately...
I thought I'd post this link for all you disabled book lovers and/or students out there. I'm not a student...not too mention way too old...but someone should benefit from the coolness of this site. Doncha think?
And check out Sense and Disability... it's new, but it promises to be good.

We miss you! Still waiting for the "call" that the perfect lungs have arrived. People in Seattle area are all so friendly. Met a Muslim and Hindu at a fabric shop yesterday who asked me to work for them doing alterations. I thought I was a reject and that no one would want to hire me. They brought the working for them subject up and I was in shock. I said I was waiting for a lung transplant at any time so could not commit until after the surgery. I am rethinking that and may do a few small jobs now. I have cabin fever and am depressed a little. I want my own soft snuggle bed. Castulo's BP is way too high again. He is able to draw and wants to do some painting for stress relief. We got wireless internet yesterday. Still fumbling around with cell phones at .37 cents a min. There are 2 men at the RV park waiting for lung transplants. The manager here made a big mistake! He tried to smooth things over with me by call me 'darlin." OOOh! That was his 2nd mistake. The 1st started yesterday morning at 8 with heavy machinery in the space next door and continuing down the line for 3 more spaces vibrating the ground and tearing up asphalt, running a huge brush over the chunks to turn it into a gravel type substance that was flung every which way and ended up inside our RV and filled the air with a cloud of who knows what. I coughed all night with bloody streaks, heavyness in my chest and headache. The manager knows why we are here and he does this and says he has to so he can rent the spaces. They will most likely sit empty all winter as there is no lake view and other sites much nicer. We are temp. in one of those nicer sites. We had no warning of the demolition and had just paid our non refundable monthly rent. I was ready to call out the Nary, Army, Marines and the EPA to get this stopped. My thought is that they could have broken up the asphalt into managable sizes and hauled them away to do the dirty work at a shop with even the workers protected with at least masks. I am using our new laptop so do not have you email address here.
