apply

Yesterday I hit my lip with my cell phone. It hurts. I haven't made myself apply for those jobs yet. I can't make myself write a cover letter. Ugh. I hate cover letters.  Nobody reads them. And ugh.

    When we're taking resumes for tech writing or editing jobs, we always look at the cover letter. It gives us a peek into whether or not the applicant can write in complete sentences. Sometimes the cover letter has multiple errors and it gives us some entertainment as we laugh and mock and put it in the reject pile.
