The thing on my finger that I deemed the wart-that-won't-go-away is not a wart at all. It's a corn. I have all these calluses on my hand and one turned into a corn. I don't think it'll ever go away. The doctor told me to use a pumice stone on my hands and keep warm water on it. He said it will peel but most likely come back. (It has.) I guess I'm happy that it is not a gross or contagious wart...but I wish it would go away.
