A little while ago, I ran across this awesome site, ChronicBabe. Althoough this site is run by a woman, Jenni Prokopy, with a different nature of disabilities (she has fibromyalgia and a bunch of other stuff)than me, I find it very helpful and inspiring. I signed up for her newsletter, which she calls Goody bags, and recently, she wrote an essay on trying not to waste energy caring about things that don't matter. I thought it was very well thought out and very true. People (with disabilities or without) shouldn't be wasting all their precious energy caring about stuff that doesn't matter. I need to try harder to do this. Anyway, ChronicBabe is cool! Check her out!
